Salman Khan: In recent news, an alarming incident unfolded outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area. Two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle were captured on CCTV footage firing shots outside Khan’s home early Sunday morning. The suspects, clad in caps and backpacks, were seen discharging firearms towards the actor’s house before swiftly fleeing the scene.
Descriptions provided by the surveillance clip detail one individual donning a white t-shirt, black jacket, and denim attire, while the other wore a red t-shirt paired with denims. The police have since released these images to aid in the identification and apprehension of the suspects.
The gravity of the situation prompted law enforcement to escalate their efforts, leading to the recovery of a two-wheeler believed to be used by the assailants, discovered just over a kilometre from Khan’s residence. An FIR has been lodged against the unidentified persons under sections 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC and the Arms Act, signifying the severity of the incident.
Authorities suspect the involvement of individuals linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, a notorious criminal organization. The perpetrators fired four rounds outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where Salman Khan resides, before making a swift escape.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde promptly reached out to Salman Khan, offering assurance of government support and reiterating a firm stance against any form of vigilantism or unlawful activities. This incident comes on the heels of a previous threat directed at Khan, leading to the registration of an FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and another individual under various sections of the IPC.
