Alqahtani’s journey echoes the trailblazing path set by Bahrain’s Lujane Yacoub, who made history as the first woman from the Gulf region to participate in the Miss Universe pageant last year.

But who is Rumy Alqahtani? With a remarkable track record in international competitions, including Miss Asia in Malaysia, Miss Arab Peace, and Miss Europe, Alqahtani is a symbol of empowerment for Saudi women. She has been crowned Miss Saudi Arabia and holds prestigious titles like Miss Middle East (Saudi Arabia), Miss Arab World Peace 2021, and Miss Woman (Saudi Arabia).
